1 John Marshall Alexander, Jr. is Johnny Ace's
birth name.

2 The Bihari Brothers, Lester, Jules, Saul and Joe,
were American music entrepreneurs and the founders of
Modern Records in Los Angeles and several subsidiaries,
including Flair Records. Though they were not
songwriters, the Biharis often purchased or claimed
co-authorship of songs that appeared on their own
labels, thus securing songwriting royalties for
themselves, in addition to their other income streams.
Joe Bihari often used the name Joe Josea for his
writing credits.

3 Earl Forest was a member of the Beale Streeters, a
band that evolved from B. B. King's band, which
included Johnny Ace and Johnny Bland. When King when to

over the band and renamed it the Beale Streeters.
