Danced myself out into the floor
Luchenbach, Texas an' the neon lights
Everybody's screamin' for more
It just don't get any better than this
That's about as good as good ever gets
If there's anythin' better, it's somethin' I missed
It just don't get any better than this
I have chased that lonesome whistle, rollin' down the line
It's a feelin' that's hard to explain
But an Okie from Muskogee, leave his blues behind
Ridin' on a fast movin' train
It just don't get any better than this
That's about as good as good ever gets
If there's anythin' better, it's somethin' I missed

Way down in Louisiana, down in New Orleans
Oh, I found one of life's greatest frills
While you were in the bayou, George
With sweet Marie Incomprehensible
I was in Detroit City, makin' Coupe DeVilles
It just don't get any better than this
That's about as good as good ever gets
If there's anythin' better, it's somethin' I missed
It just don't get any better than this
It just don't get any better than this
That's about as good as good ever gets
If there's anythin' better, it's somethin' I missed
It just don't get any better than this

Jones had more than 150 hits during his career, both as a solo artist and in duets with other artists.
Early life: Jones, raised in Vidor, Texas, along with his brother and five sisters (another sister died young before George was born), was exposed to music from an early age through his parents record collection and from listening to the gospel music he heard in church.
When George was seven the Jones family bought a radio which introduced George to the country music that would become his life. When he was nine, his father bought him his first guitar. Soon, his father had J.....MORE.....(full George Jones biography) ←
