Ritchie Valens Donna Lyrics: (Oh, Donna, oh, Donna.) (Oh, Donna, oh, Donna.) I had a girl, Donna was her name. Since she left me I've never been the same. 'Cause I love my girl. Donna, where can you be? Where can you be? Now that you're gone I'm left all alone. All by myself to wander and roam. 'Cause I love my girl. Donna, where can you be? Where can you be? [ Find more Lyrics on http://mp3lyrics.org/B74U ]Well, darlin', now that you're gone, I don't know what I'll do. All the time and all my love for yo-ou-ou. I had a girl, Donna was her name. Since she left me I've never been the same. 'Cause I love my girl. Donna, where can you be? Where can you be? Oh, Donna. Oh, Donna. Oh, Donna. [Fade.] Oh, Donna. Oh... 1 Ritchie Valens, born Richard Steven Valenzuela, on May 13, 1941, in Southern
California, to Chicano parents, was an American singer, songwriter and
guitarist. Valens' recording career lasted only eight months because of a fatal
plane crash in 1959. During this time, however, he scored several hits. Valens
was known as a pioneer of the Spanish-speaking rock and roll movement. Before
using Ritchie Valens as his stage name, the studio "suits" talked him into the
name, Arvee Allens. Three singles were pressed under that name before he
insisted on changing it to Ritchie Valens.
