We’re singing as we go, my sister and I
On our Palomino ponies as we canter on our way
The sun is shining bright and my sister and I
Are heading for the big Gymkhana Day.
Oh, the stockmen from the hills around sing,
yodel
And the answer 'til the hills are ringing
yodel
As we head for the big Gymkhana Day.
Yodel
There is fun and laughter too on Gymkhana Day
The stockmen ride the outlaws as we cheer them on their way
There are ribbons for the ponies as the judges pick the best
But the golden palominos win the day.
