1 Written in 1936, "I've Got You Under My Skin," was introduced in the Eleanor
Powell/MGM musical, Born to Dance and was nominated for the Academy Award for
Best Song that year.

2 Frankie Valli (lead tenor vocals, songwriting), Bob Gaudio (keyboards, tenor
vocals, songwriting), Tommy DeVito (lead guitar, baritone vocals) and Nick Massi
(bass guitar, bass vocals), were the original members of The Four Seasons. These
four were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1990 and the Vocal Group
Hall of Fame in 1999. There have been at least 30 different members of the Four
Seasons, or one of their various guises, over the years with Valli and Gaudio
the only constants. Jersey Boys, a musical play based on the lives of The Four
Seasons, directed by Des McAnuff premiered on Broadway on November 6, 2005 to
generally positive reviews and subsequently won multiple Tony Awards.

3 Originally recorded by Virgina Bruce for the Musical, Born to Dance, it was
popularized by and became a signature song for Frank Sinatra. Sinatra first sang
the song on his weekly radio show in 1946, however, his definitive stamp on the
tune came ten years later, in a big-band version, arranged by Nelson Riddle.
Thereafter, Sinatra usually included the song in his concerts. In 1963, Sinatra
re-recorded "I've Got You Under My Skin" for the album Sinatra's Sinatra, an
album of re-recordings of Sinatra's personal favorites. Once again, in 1993,
Sinatra recorded it as a duet with Bono of U2, for inclusion on Sinatra's
commercially successful Duets album. It was also released as the B-side of U2's
"Stay (Faraway, So Close!)" single. There were, literally, hundreds of covers
but a few notables are: Michael Bolton; Michael Bublé; Neneh Cherry; Perry Como;
James Darren, Ella Fitzgerald; Gloria Gaynor; Diana Krall; Louis Prima; Johnny
Tillotson; and many others.
