Four SeasonsSherry Lyrics:
Sherry, Sherry baby
Sherry, Sherry baby
Sherry baby
Sherry, can you come out tonight
Sherry baby
Sherry, can you come out tonight
Why don't you come out to my twist party
Come out where the bright moon shines
Come out we'll dance the night away
I'm gonna make-a you mi-yi-yi-yine
Sherry baby
Sherry, can you come out tonigh
Come, come, come out tonight
Come, come, come out tonight
You-oo-ooh better ask your mama
Tell her everything is all right
Why don't you come out with your red dress on
Come out mmm, you look so fine
Come out move it nice and easy
Girl, you make me lose my mind
Sherry baby
Sherry, can you come out tonight
Come, come, come out tonight
Come, come, come out tonight

1 "Sherry" was The Four Seasons' first nationally-released single and also
their first #1 hit, initially reaching the top of the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 on
September 15, 1962 and remaining there for five consecutive weeks. According to
Gaudio, the song took about 15 minutes to write and was originally titled
"Jackie," in honor of then-First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy.
2 Frankie Valli (lead tenor vocals, songwriting), Bob Gaudio (keyboards, tenor
vocals, songwriting), Tommy DeVito (lead guitar, baritone vocals) and Nick Massi
(bass guitar, bass vocals), were the original members of The Four Seasons. These
four were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1990 and the Vocal Group
Hall of Fame in 1999. There have been at least 30 different members of the Four
Seasons, or one of their various guises, over the years with Valli and Gaudio
the only constants. Jersey Boys, a musical play based on the lives of The Four
Seasons, directed by Des McAnuff premiered on Broadway on November 6, 2005, to
generally positive reviews and subsequently won multiple Tony Awards.
