1 "Silence is Golden" was released as the B-side to the hit song, "Rag Doll,"
in 1964. It didn't hit the top 40 for the Four Seasons, but in 1967 it was
released by the English band, The Tremeloes. It Reached #1 on the UK Singles
Chart and stayed there for 3 weeks.

2 Frankie Valli (lead tenor vocals, songwriting), Bob Gaudio (keyboards, tenor
vocals, songwriting), Tommy DeVito (lead guitar, baritone vocals) and Nick Massi
(bass guitar, bass vocals), were the original members of The Four Seasons. These
four were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1990 and the Vocal Group
Hall of Fame in 1999. There have been at least 30 different members of the Four
Seasons, or one of their various guises, over the years with Valli and Gaudio
the only constants. Jersey Boys, a musical play based on the lives of The Four
Seasons, directed by Des McAnuff premiered on Broadway on November 6, 2005, to
generally positive reviews and subsequently won multiple Tony Awards.
