The Supremes Baby Love Lyrics:
Oo-oo-oo-oo.
Baby love, my baby love,
I need ya, oh, how I need ya.
But all you do is treat me bad.
Break my heart and leave me sad.
Tell me, what did I do wrong,
To make you stay away so long?
'Cause, baby love, my baby love,
Been missin' ya, (ooo-oo) miss kissin' ya.
Instead of breakin' up,
(Don't throw our love away.)
Let's do some kissin' and makin' up.
(Don't throw our love away.)
Don't throw our love away.
In-a my arms, why don't you stay?
Need ya, need ya.
(Baby love, oo-oo, baby love.)
[Short instrumental break.]
(Baby love), my baby love,
Why must we seperate, my love?
All of my whole life through,
(Don't throw our love away.)
I never loved no one but you.
(Don't throw our love away.)
Why ya do me like ya do?
I get this need...
(Baby, baby.)
Oo-oo, oo-oo, need to hold you,
Once again, my love.
Feel your warm embrace, my love.
Don't throw our love away.
(Don't throw our love away.)
Please don't do me this way.
(Don't throw our love away.)
Not happy like I used to be.
Loneliness has got the best of me.

My love, my baby love.
I need ya, oh, how I need ya,
Why ya do me like ya do,
(Don't throw our love away.)
After I've been true to you?
(Don't throw our love away.)
So deep in love with you.
Baby, baby, (baby), oo,
Till it's hurtin' me. (Baby love.)
Till it's hurtin' me. (Baby love.)
Oo-oo, baby love,
Don't throw our love away.
(Don't throw our love away.)
Don't throw our love away.
(Don't throw our love away.)
Baby.
Ooo, baby, baby, baby, ooo.
[Fade.]
Till it's hurtin me' (Baby love.)
My baby love. (Baby love.)
I need you, oh, how I need you...

[1] When The Supremes made their Motown debut in 1961, they were Diana Ross, Mary Wilson & Florence Ballard. In mid-1967 Ballard left the group and was
replaced by Cindy Birdsong, after which they were billed as Diana Ross &
the Supremes. Ross left the group toward the end of 1969 (with the
execption of one show in Las Vegas in January 1970), to pursue a solo
career. She was replaced by Jean Terrell and the three of them recorded
under the name, The Supremes, until 1977 with a few personnel changes along
the way. Only Mary Wilson stayed with the group from beginning to the end.
